TPMS reset-

so I had rotated my tires- never reset the TPMS. I knew where the tires went.
I didnt reset because our 2007 Impala--- that TPMS reset was the reset from ****.
I never was able to get the relearn to take. After some 60 something tries.
Tires almost flat, putting IN air, taking air out... I never got all 4. the best I got was 3 of 4. In the end- I had to pay dealer to reset with their tool.
Yesterday - I decided to try the relearn.
I pressed the LOCK/Unlock key on the fob for 5 sec- and the car honks... the LEFT FRONT turn signal lights up-- I let out air for 5 seconds- BEEP.
FRONT RIGHT light comes on- I let out air slowly- 15 sec later- BEEP.
REAR right light comes on-- I let out air for 10 sec- BEEP.
REAR LEFT light comes on- I let out air for 20 sec- (****- its not going to work) I stand up- stare at it--- BEEP. HOLY MOLY IT WORKS!!!!

TPMS reported pressure was 31,32,31,33 in the tires.
this morning I drove to gas station and aired up tires to 37 PSI. Tomm morning when its cooler- Ill double check pressure.

But just wanted to report- that it worked on the 1st try.
I still will NOT reset the Impala TPMS- that was a pain.

Im happy it worked on the 1st try.

when I let the air out-- I let it out slowly- with a quick burst of air thrown in.
(I simply did it slow- because of my experience with the Impala- slow-fast- super fast- and a flat tire) never worked.
so slowly I went--- and it did beep.
